American astronaut Matt Kowski (George Clooney) and female doctor Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) board the "Explorer" space shuttle on the STS-151 mission to repair Hubble Space telescope. During the repair work, Russia launched missiles to destroy one of its abandoned spy satellites. The debris from the explosion destroyed a large number of spacecraft and rushed to the "Explorer", crashing it together with the Hubble Telescope. Except for the two who left the capsule, all the other astronauts were killed. Kuowski and Stone searched for the bodies of the astronauts and turned to the International Space Station, intending to use the Russian "Soyuz" spacecraft there to evacuate. When approaching the International Space Station, the two hit the space station’s solar panels and lost control. They were connected to the space station only by a rope wrapped around Stone’s feet. Kuowski unlocked her interception and was saved by Boston, who drove the "Soyuz" spacecraft to the Chinese Tiangong space station. Various malfunctions during the period made her almost desperate. But relying on the vision of seeing Kowski before dying, she cheered up, found a way to board the Chinese Tiangong space station, and finally returned to Earth in the Shenzhou spacecraft.

After reading it, the whole person was shaking. Whether it's photography or storyline, every aspect is almost perfect. The company took 4 years to complete the work. Except for the faces and bodies of the two actors, the entire movie is full of visual effects. The supervision of visual effects, for the first time in history, ranked ahead of the actors in the ending credits. Congratulations to Framestore!
