"GOEMON" is based on the Japanese Warring States Period in the 16th century. Although the way of expression is magical, the story it tells is not completely fictional. In Japanese history, Ishikawa Goemon is indeed one of the great thieves of the Warring States period. His life experience and legendary life are an unsolved mystery for future generations.
