Many people held it up to the sky, and even took the golden man. But I'm really clumsy and think it's not as good as Sparta...but I learned more about the five sages of Rome~

This film is a good interpretation of what is called lack of stamina. The first half of the film has a bit of epic feeling in both the scene music and the rhythm, which allows the audience to participate; but the second half gradually enters the "blockbuster" time, the plot is terrible, and the logic is stiff. Everything is laid out for the final battle, and the development of the story is very deliberate. It can only be said that Scott finally succumbed to the public aesthetic, and this can only further reflect the level of Oscars.

Lucilla: I want to help you.
Maximus: Yes, you can help me... Forget you ever knew me, and never come back here again.

Maximus: I knew a man once who said, "Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back."
Commodus: I wonder, did your friend smile at his own death?
Maximus: You must know. He was your father.
Commodus: You loved my father, I know. But so did I. That makes us brothers, doesn't it? Smile for me now, brother.
