It is one of the representative movies in the era of the popular culture of Breakin' and B-Boy. The film is the first film featuring B-Boying. Although, it is not a movie focused exclusively on B-Boying. But there is a short section of the film featuring B-Boying and Popping on the street, which is enough to impress people all over the world and start playing B-Boying. After "Flash Dance", many Breaking films have also been made. Such as " Breakin ", "breaking2" and "Beat Street". The scene of Rock Steady Crew and New York city breakers in "Beat Street" is also what makes this film impressive. So "Flash Dance" can be said to be an important promoter of B-Boying culture.
