Bobby (Jack Nicholson played by Jack Nicholson) was born into a family of music, but somehow he gave up music and lived on oil drilling. His girlfriend Rey, who works as a waitress in the restaurant, often upsets Bobby, but he still cannot bear to separate from her. Bobby's behavior is rather turbulent, seizing every opportunity to have fun with strange women; venting on the congested road; and angering his only friend Elton after hearing the news that his girlfriend is pregnant. Elton was arrested for robbery. The lost Bobby visited his sister who was recording piano music, but he heard the news that his father was seriously ill. Bobby and Rey drove to Washington to visit their father. They carried two strange hitchhikers halfway: a cynical, antisocial woman and her close friend of the same sex. After a bumpy journey, Bobby visited his father alone. At this time, the latter I have had a stroke and can't recognize him.
