In the crash scene at the beginning of the movie, at least 8 cars were destroyed, and there were as many as 22 stunt drivers.

Many road signs in the film showed the word "180", and the 180 flight in the first part was the culprit.
Some characters in the film are named after the actors and directors of the black and white horror film. In this film, the heroine Kimberly Coman has the same surname as the horror film director Roger Coman.
The producer first took a fancy to the script "Butterfly Effect" by screenwriters Eric Blaise and J. McKee Gruber, and hoped that they could write the script for the film. The two agreed to take on the role, but the premise is "Butterfly Effect". "It must be directed by them.
Before filming the car accident scene, the crew tested real logs, but they did not bounce enough, so the logs in the film were generated by a computer.
Tim’s role was originally set to be only 7 years old, but New Line Films thinks this age is too cruel.
In order to film a series of car accident scenes, the crew closed several miles of roads for several days.
