Fay, a single mother, fears her 14-year-old son will become like his father Henry, who has been missing for seven years. Phil's brother Simon was also jailed for ten years for helping Henry escape. Now that Simon is alone in prison, he has enough time to reflect on his life, the days when he was with Henry. After thinking about it carefully, Simon began to suspect that perhaps Henry's heart was not what he appeared to be on the outside, and he seemed to have some secrets that he had been hiding from himself. Simon's conjecture is not unreasonable. The CIA soon came to the door and asked Fei to go to Paris to retrieve a diary left by Henry. Because the information in the diary would endanger the security of the United States, Fei was forced to obey the order. Involved in the whirlpool of spies.
