Fargo film creation

The film uses Fargo (Fargo,) as the English title because the director likes its pronunciation too much. In fact, none of the scenes in the film were shot in Fargo.
The protagonist Jerry's last name comes from a film critic: Bob Lundegaard. At the end of the film, Kea kills Carl and uses a wood-smashing machine to smash Carl's body. This scene is adapted from the "Heller Krafts Disappearance Case" in November 1986.
In order to help the actors enter the role, Joel Cohen compiled a background story for Margot and her husband: Margot and Nome were former police colleagues. After marriage, one of the two must give up their job, and since Margot is a better police officer, Noam decides to resign and start painting.
The Shureya car in the film strung the entire storyline. Jerry was frustrated by the bank because he gave the car to the kidnapper. Karl and Gere were stopped by the police because the car didn’t have a license plate. Maggie was able to find Jerry because Cars, and the cause of Kiel's killing of Karl was also the car.
