  • The prison where Sean Archer was imprisoned was filmed at the Eagle Rock Substation.
  • The clothing department of the crew produced a total of 180 pairs of magnetically fastened boots in the film, each weighing 13 pounds.
  • The producers had hoped that Wu Yusen could remove the slash in the title, but Wu Yusen insisted on keeping it. He was afraid that the audience would misunderstand the film as a hockey movie (Face Off is a hockey term meaning kickoff).
  • The speedboat chase at the end was originally designed for "Ultimate Target". In "Break into Death Island", Nicholas Cage once said that he drove a beige Volvo. After escaping from prison in the film, Nicholas Cage stole a beige Volvo.
  • The sea prison in the film is called "Erewhon", which is exactly "nowhere" written in reverse. The magnetic boots in the prison are from "Super Horsepower Bros."
  • The name of Castel Troy in the film comes from Greek mythology. The choir in the film is a non-profit choir in Los Angeles.
  • There are a number of Wu Yusen’s iconic shots in the film, such as Caster Troy using double guns, Dr. Walsh’s glasses showing Caster Troy, Sean and Caster talking back to back through obstacles. Gunfights with pigeons and churches, etc.
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were the first candidates to star in the film. Later, Wu Yusen became the director. He thought John Travolta and Nicholas Cage were more suitable.
  • According to producer Barry Osborne, many of the thrilling scenes in the film, like fighting on a ship and flying off the runway, were originally planned to be shot on a green screen, but considering the authenticity of the story, they decided to take real shots.
  • Initially, Nicholas Cage refused to play Castor Troy because of his lack of interest in playing bad guys. Later, he learned that he was playing a hero for most of the film and soon signed up to play.

The antagonism of human nature, moral entanglements, and the emotions of the audience when watching movies caused by the exchange of identities are amazing. Wu Yusen's style of slow motion adds a unique rhyme to the movie. The part of the face change was horrified. After the face change, Cage played really well. Three details: 1 The shots of two people shooting at each other in the mirror have dialectical meaning. 2 The multi-party confrontation in the last climax scene. 3 Cage stabbed Sean's daughter with the knife

I personally think that this is the best film Wu Yusen made in the United States. I will always remember the moment when Nicholas Cage came out of Lamborghini...
