Eating Out's sexy gays and straights continue to gag and chase attractive men or women in the sequel, Eating Out 2: Prelude to Flirting, and the production is just as sloppy as its predecessor. But the film contains a higher density of jokes than its predecessor,
with more vulgar but sure-fire puns, and spends two-thirds of its time on sitcoms
. At the same time, the film conveys an undeniable truth - trying to make gay youth "straight" is doomed to failure. Overall, even though most of the cast conflated recitation with acting, they brought an interesting plot.
