Downsizing evaluation action

The film tells the birth and development of its invention in a linearly progressive way of time, paving the way for the development and credibility of the story, and it takes a considerable amount of space to introduce the protagonist. The narrative is too regular and slows down the story invisibly. The rhythm and compactness. Regrettably, since then, I haven't dig deeper into the special experience caused by shrinking. It's the appearance of various elements, science fiction, comedy, and social themes form a pot of soup, and big topics such as humanitarianism, environmental resource protection, and poverty and refugees, which often pull the audience's attention from sci-fi with the theme of shrinking to reality. This makes the film look more like a miniature social realism in a utopian world set by the director, a realistic story full of hidden allegories. Therefore, while presenting social issues and criticism, it seems that the topic of shrinking does not have time to care about or is irrelevant, so the audience will be confused from time to time about various technical bugs about the shrinking world and the normal world. Another turning point at the end of the film and a special ending makes the audience feel a little confused between an environmental science fiction story about the future of the world, the protagonist's self-identity search, and an unusual love between men and women.
"Downsizing" is a very absurd sci-fi comedy. Director Alexander Payne is like a creator in the play, wantonly mobilizing different nations to say everything they want to say. However, under the absurd plot, there is still the set of American values in the bones. The same dialogue spoken by people in other countries does not mean that it is not American values. But even if you are dissatisfied with the plot, the director’s changes are still worth appreciating
If the film is handed over to an inexperienced director, he may not be able to control the length of the film, but Alexander Payne handles everything perfectly, every step is very precise, and tells the story very beautifully and beautifully. It has a sharp side like a needle.
The film is fascinating and interesting, full of surprises and twists and turns, completely unpredictable for its plot direction. It is a very user-friendly movie. Like many Hollywood movies, it has a very complete plot moment and can stand the test of time.

From the moment he broke her prosthesis, I knew the movie was going to fail, and every second that followed was validating that idea.

60/100 Payne's insight into the joys and bitterness of ordinary people has disappeared, replaced by jumping between locations and motifs, from middle-class anxiety at the beginning, to material abundance and spiritual emptiness, and then from The underlying ecology suddenly turned to the survival and death of human beings. Even if there are so many motifs, even if one is serious, it will be very different with the concept of shrinking. But now it just makes people feel that shrinking or not shrinking has no effect
