The creation of the film comes from the historian Joachim Fest's "Hitler's Last Day" and the memoir of Hitler's last female secretary Trout Jonge "Until the End". Jung was born in Munich in 1920 and was chosen by Hitler as his personal secretary at the age of 22. She served until Hitler committed suicide and recorded Hitler's will, and finally escaped from the bunker with a small team.
What disturbs many people is that in the memory of this typist, Hitler was an educated, respected, and gentle leader. When she made a typo or did something wrong, Hitler was always forgiving. Therefore, until Hitler committed suicide, Jong continued to respect him. The book also revealed that Hitler was a vegetarian and a person who had a deep friendship with dogs. Before marrying his lover Eva Braun, he kissed her in public. Hitler was somewhat sentimental. He would not let others put flowers in his office because the flowers would wither and he didn't like seeing dead things. The film extracted a lot of material from Jung's book, giving Hitler an extremely humane side.
