The film is not about a story about a beautiful woman losing her beauty, but about a person's confirmation of her identity. Its theme stems from the fear that things familiar and close to oneself will one day become unfamiliar. The protagonist Jeanna watched the world around her change little by little, her environment lost balance in the unknown, her face gradually turned into someone else's. The director wants to use images to express this anxiety about the changes that are taking place in his body.
The protagonist Jeanna's anxiety and desire for truth are crude. She wants to see the truth. In order to obtain the truth, she would rather let her intuition undergo painful distortions. The director said that he once needed to understand the emotional chaos full of violence, but then, violence is not an element that attracts him. He believes that neither his characters nor the audience want to see only violence. He doesn't like excitement, nor does he like thriller effects. I just melted myself into emotions and shared this with the audience.
