The shooting scale of this film is much larger than that of ordinary Japanese romance movies. The filming period of the film was as long as three months, as well as large-scale action scenes and a lot of CG post-production. During the shooting process, the film crew even blocked the road and built a huge open-air background in Iwashi City, Fukushima Prefecture to show the ruins after the earthquake.

The planning of this film began at the Yubari Film Festival in 2003. At that time, the film's director Jae-young Kwak and producer Yamamoto Yachiro were both judges of the film festival. In 2007, Jae-young Kwak came to Japan alone to lead the Japanese production team and actors to create new films. It was raining, but the actors were asked not to blink, and the weather was cold and the costumes were thin, and Ayase Haruka kept shaking. When the filming officially started, Ayase Haruka no longer trembled or blinked, and passed the stage in one go. Earlier in the film, when the hero and heroine were chased by the police in Chinatown, the heroine bumped into the face. The scene didn't do any VFX treatment. At that time, Ayase's nose was swollen from the bump. After the filming was over, Ayase was sent to the hospital for treatment.
