Ellie Alois led her team to listen to information from various bands of the universe, and identify signals that express intelligence. After a series of experiences of sponsors withdrawing funds, asking for nothing, and turning around, they finally discovered the signal from the direction of Vega 26 light years away. After declassification, it turned out to be Hitler's speech at the opening ceremony of the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Further research shows that the information sent by aliens contains a large number of industrial design drawings, telling humans how to build an aircraft that can only accommodate a single person, through the wormhole directly to Vega. After the machine was built, Alois, who was the preferred pilot, was voted against by her Christian boyfriend Palmer Jos because she was not a religious believer.
