The show is also created by a pair of Emmy award-winning partners-Joe Russo and Anthony Russo (Arrested Development). In the past, sitcoms were mostly based on the four elements of "love," "family," "life," and "work," but this drama has set its sights on higher education in a unique way. The Big Bang Theory of CBS is one of the successful models of this type in recent years.
How does the United States solve the problem of "difficulty in studying"? How should adults who have entered society but want to continue their education receive higher education? This sitcom answers these questions to a certain extent.
The students at Greendale Community College are somewhat "special." This is not to say that they have any physical defects, but because of their strange composition-there are "poor students" in high school, housewives who have just divorced, and elderly people who "live to learn and learn". Without the sacredness of the ivory tower, community colleges have fulfilled these people's "higher education" dreams.
The protagonist of the story is a fast-talking lawyer (played by Joel McHale). He originally had a college degree, but that diploma was invalidated by accident. Impossible to go back to school to study again, he chose to join a community college. Actively thinking, he quickly made a group of friends and organized a study seminar among them.
In fact, their understanding of each other may be deeper and more valuable than their understanding of books and homework. Life is short, and Mo's good years have been wasted. This is what this play is going to tell us.
