Erie Manzo's masterpiece, 1968 Oscar for best foreign language film. 1. Adapted from the Herabal novel of the same name, the painful and boring wartime past is displayed in soft and playful brushstrokes. It is full of black humor and deconstructs the heroic myth about resistance to war: a depressed virgin who cut his arms in a brothel. After completing the rite of passage for sex, he finally gave his life for the country without hesitation. 2. The film always juxtaposes sex with nationality/war, just like that side station seal, which is not only stamped on the German combat map, but also on the body of the female station crew, and the men and women in the photo studio are on the plane. The kissing pose, after a night of unsuccessful rain, the photo studio was suddenly blown into ruins the next day. 3. Before the two kissed, the female conductor was taken away by the moving train, but the comic-style opening of the film echoed the sad ending-Milo left with the train and died together. 4. Germany's characterization of the "seal incident": insulted and belittled the German language, facing the smiling girl, Milo turned around and left without going back. In the dust after the explosion, everything seemed so absurd and cruel. (8.5/10)

10-9 points. Pretty good movie, I especially like the cinematography. Be prepared to turn out the original novel and read it for a while, and then revisit it and feel it again.

Milos Hrma: I'm Milos Hrma. I've tried to kill myself because I'm suffering from premature ejaculation. But that's really not so. Even though I flop every time, I'm a real man.

Milos Hrma: I cut myself off from the past entirely. Just like that.
