The scholar Helen Keller , played by Virginia Madsen , is studying a popular American folk legend: as long as you read the name "Candy Man" in the mirror five times in a row, a ghost with a hook in the right hand will appear. He went to the world to take the lives of people. Helen Keller came to Chicago to conduct field investigations. A series of murders that were fatal by a hook also happened one after another. Finally, he discovered the truth of the legend. It turned out that a black man was cut off because he fell in love with a white lady. The palm of his hand, and honey on the broken palm, made him suffer from the pain of bee stings before he died, deliberately revenge for killing.
