Burn After Reading Creative background

"Burn after Reading" was written and directed by the Coen brothers, and they also served as producers. The film is based on Stanfield Turner's novel "Highly Confidential: The President, CIA Director, and Special Agent", who served as the director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1977 to 1981.
The filming cycle of less than three months is obviously inseparable from the standout performances of many well-founded actors. The Coen brothers regained the essence of black comedy in the film, and discussed some of the most general trends in current American society.
Not only did the content of the story have changed, the Coen brothers also worked hard to make some attempts in the technical aspects of filmmaking. Choosing to use a very densely populated metropolis like New York as the shooting location will naturally lead to the whole process. A large number of fans or passersby came to watch. Moreover, there are too many taboos and too many restrictions in filming in New York, and a lot of rules and regulations are even more annoying.
