Bright Young Things positive review

Frey's wonderful dialogue and Wo's wit are perfectly intertwined, while softening the irony of the novel. The most significant change in the film is that the film ends with a happy reunion, which is more optimistic about the future than the chaotic emotion expressed in the novel. However, some critical criticisms made the audience question the production level of the film, but the film itself is very successful and impeccable.
Despite the complexity and lack of focus of the script, the adaptation of the film is still very funny, touching and successful. Frey is a versatile British actor. He himself was once a dazzling young man, and he knows how hot young people dance along the edge of the abyss.
The surprise of the film is the actor Moore who appeared in the movie for the first time. His performance surpassed all professional actors. He is approachable and eclectic, which is exactly the kind of star image this movie needs in the center of the storm.
Stephen John Fry has made a clever adaptation of the novel, very fashionable, and the cast is luxurious and wonderful.

    Michael Sheen is amazing

Micheal Sheen's character prototype is Stephen Tennant of The brightest of the bright young things. When he was young, his father asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he said, "A great beauty, sir."

Bright Young Things quotes

  • Adam Fenwick-Symes: Oh Nina, what a lot of parties... Masked parties, Savage parties, Victorian parties, Greek parties, Wild West parties, Circus parties, parties where you have to dress as somebody else, almost naked parties in St. John's Wood, parties in flats and studios and houses and ships and hotels and nightclubs, in swimming baths and windmills. Dances in London so dull. Comic dances in Scotland and disgusting dances in the suburbs. All that succession and repetition of massed humanity. All those vile bodies. And now a party in a mental hospital...

  • Ginger Littlejohn: What I'm about to say is that what I'm about to say may sound unpleasant, y'know, and all that, but look here, y'know, dammit. I mean, the better man has won. Not, um, that I'm saying that I'm the better man, I wouldn't say that for a moment, awful bad luck on you and all but still, when you come to think of it I mean look here, y'know. Dammit. Do you see what I mean?
