This black comedy fantasy work is one of Terry Gilliam’s early masterpieces. Like the masterpiece "1984", the film creates an absurd but chilling future world. This seemingly orderly world, seemingly carefree world, is actually a highly centralized, highly rigid and highly stifling world.
