Augustin Villaroga is a famous Spanish cult director. He has directed the gay thriller "Glass Cage". In 2000, "The Sea" was shortlisted for the Berlin Film Festival. This year is his first independent directed work in 10 years. Can be called the most mainstream one. The film is adapted from the novel of Catania writer Emili Teixidor. The trauma of the civil war is also a consistent theme in Villaroga's works. The film contrasts the worlds of teenagers and adults, showing a picture of growth and loss of innocence.
