"Big Nothing" was mainly shot on location in Wales and the Isle of Man.
The background of the film is set in Big Falls, Oregon, but it was actually filmed in Wales and the Isle of Man, England. The central characters of the story are two people working in the telephone company, Charlie ( David Schwimmer) and Garth (Dr. Russel Fell), together with a barmaid, Jussie (Alice Eve), extort blackmail from a local priest who visits a pornographic website. A murder happens that night, followed by a headless federal detective (Joe Polito) and Charlie's police wife (Natasha McAheren).
In "Big Nothing," a mix of American and British performances, starring the dull-witted David Schwimmer and the over-the-top Dr. Russel Fell . The film was released and distributed in the UK on December 1, 2006, and maybe the second half can make up for some deficiencies and restore some reputation for it. Director Andre's excellent visual design balances these basic materials well, ensuring that the film is a comedy with low-key characters. Although there are some really good bridge designs, it feels decidedly contrived, probably due to Huon Page and Mike Ahern's American accents.
One part of the film is a parody of the movie " The Matrix " (The Matrix, 1999).
