The film is not a real children's film, neither the design nor the execution is particularly interesting. More precisely, this is a tear-jerking attempt by director Chris Columbus The ending of the film is a melancholy, sentimental and quite deep romantic fantasy, which is more in line with the golden age of science fiction than any film in the 1990s   .
