"Better Watch Out" is a horror comedy about a 12-year-old boy who is insane. The main scene of the film is in a two-story house. Although the space is small, it is visually interesting. As a movie released during the golden age of horror movies, the quality of the film is not good. Although the director cleverly combined the interesting plot and the horror consequences to form a certain contrast, the film feels frustrating and nihilistic, full of merciless irony, and the script seems to be written by a deranged 12-year-old boy.
"Better Watch Out" was shot in a studio in Sydney, Australia. The setting included traditional Christmas movie elements, which looked bright and cheerful, and contrasted with the storyline. The starring Miller looks like an ordinary child, but his precociousness is shocking. It's a pity that the malicious deduction of this young actor is not completely convincing. Ed Oxenbould and Alex Mickic handed in good answers, interpreting the roles more three-dimensionally. Brian Caccia’s soundtrack mimics the sound of mainstream home music and has a subversive effect.

Luke: Truth or dare?
Garrett: Dare - and you better dare us to make out or something.
Luke: Not on your life.
Garrett: Why not? Why do you get to have all the fun?
Luke: Because she's *my* babysitter.
