Beauty and the Beast evaluation action

The film has achieved a highly restored animation version in terms of narrative rhythm, scene setting, line music, costume art, etc., plus gorgeous special effects, the overall effect is dreamy and beautiful. The film is a fairy tale loyal to the original in its drama. It is quite well-formed and lacks surprises. It is inevitable to be lazy. However, it has made changes in the details, whether it is to keep up with the times or because of the market drive, it has done it. The current general public political correctness makes the princess movies of the new era exude a different temperament.
The film is a live-action re-creation of a well-known fairy tale. You may have seen other versions before, but the spirit and charm of the film is beyond the audience's resistance.
The lively and well-made song and dance movie is one level higher than the original in some aspects, but most parts are slightly inferior to the original.
The film is beautiful, interesting, sweet and luxurious, and the song is very contagious, but there are still questions about why this film exists and why the producer did not give it more connotation.
The film is full of brilliance but lacks freshness. This live-action film is a strange sentimental masterpiece, and it brings exactly the same feeling as the original before 1991.

Beauty and the Beast quotes

  • Belle: [to Lumiere] What happens when the last petal falls?

Lumière: The master remains a beast forever and we become...

    Mrs. Potts: [sadly] Antiques!

    Lumière: Knick-knacks.

    Plumette: Lightly-used housewares.

    Cogsworth: Rubbish. We become rubbish.

Belle: I want to help you. There must be some way to break the curse.

    Cogsworth: Well, there is one.

    [Lumiere hits him]

Mrs. Potts: It's not for you to worry about, lamb. We've made our bed, and we must lie in it.

  • Beast: [to Belle, who is in the West Wing admiring the enchanted rose; furiously] What are you doing here? What did you do to it?

    Belle: [frightened] Nothing!

Beast: Do you realize what you could have done? You could have damned us all! Get out of here! *Go*!
