Batman Begins positive review

BBC: A bold and outstanding superhero movie, the best in Batman movies.
"Dallas Morning News": Fully loyal to the original work, which is not common in works of similar themes.
"Information Times": The director imaginatively fills in and interprets how Bruce Wayne, the heir to hundreds of millions of fortunes, became the heroic path of Batman, the dark savior. Moreover, the film also changed the comic style of the previous episode, which was overly exaggerated and mentally retarded, and adopted more rigorous realism techniques, such as the unskilled skills of Batman when he first came out of the arena and the novice, as well as the initial tanks and battle suits. Old-fashioned, primitive, wild and other details make people feel authentic. In addition, those that explode will explode, and those that should explode, all these have a strong entertainment appreciability.
"Time.net": Nolan is completely loyal to Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" created by Frank Miller in 1986, with the bold, dark and realistic style, while using the IMAX film shooting mode to outline the operatic spirit he expected. The film raised superhero movies to unprecedented heights, and the strong dark realism style also influenced many subsequent superhero movies.

Batman Begins quotes

  • The Scarecrow: [riding through a riot on a hooded horse] There's nothing to fear but fear itself!

  • Batman: [has laid a snare-trap which yanks Flass by his leg 70 feet into the air] Where were the other drugs going?

Flass: I never knew. I don't know. I swear to God...

    Batman: Swear to *me*!

[He rapidly lowers a screaming Flass and then yanks him back up]

Flass: I don't... I don't know. I never knew. Never. They went to some guy for a couple of days before they went to the dealers.

    Batman: Why?

Flass: There was something... Something else in the drugs... something hidden.

    Batman: What?

Flass: I never went to the drop-off point. It was in the Narrows. Cops only go there when they're in force.

Batman: Do I look like a cop?

    Flass: No...!

[rapidly lowers Flass once more before dropping him to the ground]
