Bastards "All of these are just victims of war"

2022-10-11 17:32
This movie is not only a war movie, but also a movie about human nature. A group of juvenile delinquents who have already been sentenced to Death Penalty; Capital Punishment, experienced a war that should not belong to them . In fact, the war is so cruel. Because of the war, they lost their parents; because no one took care of them, they became homeless, thieves, and robbers; because of the crimes they committed when they were young, they were sent to remote places. , trained to be tools of battle, even if they were still young children.
It's all like reincarnation, and they're just casualties of war.
This film reflects the kind and forbearance of human nature in many places, from the principal's concern for the children, to the cook secretly feeding the two children; from the expression of the chief looking at the falling figures of the children on the plane, to the German chief saying : These are just children, look what we did. All of this is against the brutality of the war and their powerlessness as pawns for leaders to vent their desires.
But in general, the ending is still very satisfactory. Although the director did not make it clear why the other partner is still alive, this is enough. Let the audience imagine it for themselves.
