In an English class, the French girl Uldir (Anna Karina) met two men, Arthur and Franz. They are two young people fascinated by American culture and yearning for thrilling legends. Uldir was quickly attracted by the romantic Arthur, and gradually fell in love with him. The three of them began to mix together often, sitting in a cabriolet for a drive. Uldir was boarding in a luxurious mansion, and she told Franz that there was a huge amount of cash stored in the house. Arthur and Franz planned to burglary, and then Uldir wanted to back down, but Arthur and the others insisted on taking action and planned a specific time. When that day came, things didn't go well. Uldir asked them to cancel the operation again and again, but Arthur said he would come back tomorrow and even beat Uldir.
