The film tells a touching story between a Turkish officer who fought in North Korea in 1950 and a South Korean orphan. In 1950, under the ravages of artillery fire from all sides of the Korean War, Sergeant Suleiman, a Turkish soldier of the United Nations Army, stumbled upon a frozen little South Korean girl. She had no parents and saw no help. On the brink of madness, fear and death, this little girl made Suleiman worry about him. He risked his life to save her and took her to the military base to stay away from danger. Without knowing her name and unable to communicate with her, Suleiman named her Ella to commemorate the moon on the catastrophic night they met. The two instantly formed an inseparable bond, and Ella almost effortlessly brought an incredible joy to the Turkish brigade trapped in the war. However, when the war drew to a close, Suleiman's brigade was told that they would return home. Suleiman couldn't bear to abandon Ella, he did his best to take her away. After repeated failures, he was forced to send Ella to the orphanage, but he did not give up the hope of reuniting with her one day   .
