August: Osage County evaluation action

"August: Osage County" is based on the drama of the same name and is an out-and-out literary drama. The whole story tells the various disputes and struggles that occurred in a family, which makes people feel a sincere sense of desolation. Meryl Streep vividly interprets the role of the mother in the play. The feeling of irritability and disappointment can be said that only Aunt Mei can perform such a performance, and Julia Roberts, who is also the actress, is not to be outdone. The whole film has pleasant scenery, the clouds are light and the wind is light, and the distance between people under the scenery always seems to be a sense of isolation.
The film is based on the popular drama of the same name and adapted by the playwright himself. I haven't seen a drama, just as far as the movie is concerned, it is very good. Meryl Streep once again gave a performance that shocked the four players, playing the hypocritical, vicious, poor and hateful family core figure into a three-pointer. Surprisingly, the performances of other supporting actors are also impressive. Julia Roberts may offer the best performance since "Never Compromise." The most moving is the short minute that Benedict Cumberbatch played the electric piano and sang, which is probably the most beautiful and fragile part of the film.
Also adapted from a stage play, "Osse" is guilty of a common problem: the contradiction of unlimited magnification and infinite stacking on the stage, transplanted into a movie based on life, it is inevitable to be uncomfortable, the tail is too big, too much force, and the branch line is chaotic, which limits it. Its artistic depth and tension. What it gives is waves of hammer blows, not the more destructive Mianli Tibetan needles (Reviewed by).
The lines are sharp and profound, the performance is brilliant, and the rhythm of the drama conflict is well controlled. The process of watching is very easy and enjoyable, but after watching it, it is inevitable to be sad for the fate of the character. The director does not understand the essence of the original stage play, nor does he know how to convey this essence to the actors. Each scene is very dramatic when viewed independently, but it is connected without the feeling of a movie ().
