"Goodbye, kids" is a film full of director's personal touch and historical truth.
. Louis Mahler allows a wonderful innocence to run through the beginning and the end of the movie. This remembrance is full of emotion
. The film’s format has many similarities to the best French films of the 1950s: realistic details, patiently using dim light to express the gloomy atmosphere of the era, and juxtaposed illustrative scenes (especially The beginning of the film) narrative. After making these different factors in the film suitable for each, an undisclosed passion slowly controlled the tone of the film and achieved success. Louis Mahler demonstrated one of his strengths in the film, that is, not playing with those superficial effects to move and capture the audience.
