In "Så som i himmelen", director Kay Pollack brings together some negligible details of life, borrowing the power of music, a little bit of skinning and deboning, so that the love of innocence that originally resides in his heart can be restored. Was inspired once. Like all successful inspirational films, this film does not deliberately elevate a certain state, but helps the audience to find something that has been lost
.
"Så som i himmelen" belongs to the kind of work that can inspire endless thoughts, but it is difficult to summarize how I feel. Although the story told in the film is fictitious, it can be presented as a real biography by director Kay Pollack in an extremely simple way. Similar inspirational films usually put the fate of the protagonist at the core to show it. The film does the opposite, placing the first protagonist of the story in a relatively subordinate position.
The film promotes the whole story with the sadness of revisiting the hometown. In the subsequent story, the film style took a 180-degree turn. The seemingly boring small country, in fact, has the simplicity and enthusiasm that a city cannot match. The Swedes are a bit more stubborn than the Americans, and the movies they make are not as sophisticated as Hollywood’s familiarity with the masses. Therefore, "Så som i himmelen" has a very beautiful and at the same time a very cruel ending
