"Another Country" is the final fusion of two characters whose viewpoints are incompatible with each other, to illustrate the complementary relationship between homosexuality and politics.

The actors’ performances are believable, and the school’s claustrophobic elitism is more convincing than American films like " Scent of a Woman ." In a social context where only Boy George is publicly released to the public, "Another Country" may appear bold and challenging. However, it is difficult to say whether the film is a movie with no ideas, or a movie with ideas but can't bear to say it. This kind of film is even more depressing and cannot tolerate any sympathy.
