French director Luc Besson has been silent for 6 years after the controversial "Joan of Arc" in 1999, and finally re-directed and completed his tenth film "Angel A". During the 6 years that he was temporarily closed, he has been appearing as a "supervisor", supporting a large number of newcomers and new works. He participated in the production of as many as 50 movies, many of which were written by him. This low-key "Angel A" has been kept secret during the filming. Before the film was released, Luc even refused to organize a preview meeting of the news media, which added a little mystery to the already much-anticipated film.
The film's male protagonist, Andre (Gamele Dubuz), is a small gangster in the Paris underworld. He makes a living by swindling and cheating, and many criminal activities are inextricably linked to him. However, Andre is obviously not up to the "nickname" of a liar, because he is desperate and indebted, and owes a lot of money to the local gang leader Frank (Gilbert Melki). Not long ago, Andre won a lottery prize and the prize was a green card to immigrate to the United States. However, the increasingly severe situation made his immigrant dream irreversible. After several threats from Frank, Andre decided to free his soul and jumped off the bridge of the Seine.
When he stood on the bridge and was about to take a fatal step, he suddenly found that a tall woman (Lee Rasmussen) was also about to jump into the river. As the water splashed, Andre also jumped in. In the river, go save the girl who committed suicide. When the girl was rescued ashore, she was very grateful to Andre, her name was Angela, and she was willing to repay Andre's life-saving grace with everything. Angela persuaded Andre with a beautiful heart, let him see the beauty in his heart, gradually accept himself, and finally let Andre regain his self-confidence. And this blond, long-legged stunner is full of magic, paying off all Andre's debts with a carefully planned series of schemes.
Angela told Andre that she was actually an angel, and as proof, she made an ashtray fly. Her mission to Earth is to help Andre find himself again, and she herself is Andre's heart.
Later, the angel who had completed his mission spread his wings and flew towards the sky. The reluctant Andre grabbed her leg tightly and did not want her to leave, so the silhouettes of the two crossed the sky. After the water splashed and calmed down, the two of them appeared.
