The delicate balance of Sense Hunt's plot is upset for much of the film, and the key culprit is the director's dedication to trying to answer every question about the BPO conspiracy -- trying to use reason rather than emotion. A lot of time was spent figuring out the exact timeline of Jonas, Angelica, and the Whisperers during their big break/betrayal decades ago. There's also a "Chairman" of the BPO who is set up as the real villain beyond the Whisperer, but he doesn't do anything at all to be worthy of that foreshadowing. After spending the first two-thirds of its time making these mistakes, the film largely corrects itself and leaves a good impression on the audience in the climax.
So the movie is enough to make viewers feel worth it, and it's definitely a better ending than the show's second season ended. This is the most powerful endorsement an audience can give. Anyway, at least the show isn't boring

Daniela: I know your kind. Men that mistake cruelty for strength. Living your petty little lives, so limited. We both know that if I were to pull this trigger, not a single person would shed a tear. The smallness of your kind is nothing to fear, only to pity.
