Continuity: John Milner's classic car does not have a license plate in some scenes.
Anachronism: When John was stopped by the police, a movie theater was not far from him. The movie poster above is Cabaret (1972).
Anachronism: The TV sets seen on the windows of the store are all models produced in the early 1970s.
An anachronism: coin-operated telephones in motels did not become more common until the late 1960s.
Continuity: The Studebaker license plate that the girls from Turlock drove is the same as the license plate of Steven’s 58 Chevy.
Facts are wrong: In the final scene, Kurt walks to the open door and prepares to board the plane. At this time an engine (on the left side) has started. In real life, when the door is opened and passengers are still boarding, the plane will never start any engine.
Consistency: When Carol applied shaving cream to the windshield in front of the car, she jumped up and ran away, and she could see that there was no shaving cream in the car
