The film is incompatible with the market standards but it is therefore more precious. It preserves Fellini’s frantic teenage memories, and is a questioning of self. The seemingly chaotic and disconnected main female characters reflect Fellini. The secret and true preferences of the opposite sex, the immortality of the film lies in its ability to inspire the audience to find and confirm important moments in their own experience.
The theme of the film is clear, but the story has no established clues. From beginning to end, the audience seems to watch Fellini sitting in a pile of colorful building blocks all over the floor, moving around and moving around, with a relaxed movement and a smile on his face, creating a beautiful scene. The pattern of is exactly that gorgeous to strange pattern that satisfies the audience, but they don’t know why. The small town life in the film should be a memory of his childhood life in Rimini. This memory is completely outlined with lines of gratitude and nostalgia, so it is sometimes realistic and sometimes "surreal", but all memories are warm , Lyrical, and sometimes even gorgeous aria-like, full of the joy and serenity of worldly life.
