The story told in the TV series "Alcatraz Season 1" is still bizarre: San Francisco Police Department detective Rebecca Madsen (played by Sarah Jones) was assigned to a terrible murder case, and a fingerprint made her have shocking suspicions: this fingerprint Belongs to Jack Sylvane, a condemned prisoner who should have died fifty years ago and was sent to Alcatraz. In view of Rebecca's family history--her grandfather and uncle were both prison guards--Rebecca was immediately interested in this incident, and almost immediately, that mysterious government investigator who knew everything but could not say anything. Emerson Hauser (played by Sam Neill) tried to prevent her from investigating, and she became more determined to pursue the investigation.
