A Very Long Engagement Shooting process

The film is about a story that happened in France, and the whole film was shot in France. During the several months of filming, more than 2,000 Frenchmen assisted in the filming. There were more than 30 Frenchmen as the main actors alone, and more than 500 technicians behind the scenes.
The director invited the composer Angelo Batarawandi, who composed the original soundtrack of " The City of Lost Children ", to compose the film. The film strives for every detail in the setting, props and costumes to exude strong The atmosphere of the 1920s. The main creative team made all the props into the real 1920s period, including pocket watches, the earliest public telephones, elevators, the earliest trains, and the planes that could only fly tens of meters in height just used in World War I, and almost every one Professionals all wore old-fashioned clothing that can only be seen in old newspapers in Parisian collections, including postmen, priests, farmers, soldiers, prostitutes, civil servants, and nobles at the time. Paris, which was only seen on old maps sold on the banks of the Seine in the 1920s, was realized entirely through special effects. The director asked all the actors to wear costumes and set up props to shoot in a blue background studio, and then use computer stunts to change the background to Paris in the 1920s
