The filming started in July 2019; on September 26, director John Krasinski announced the completion of the horror film "A Quiet Place 2" directed by him. On December 19, 2019, "A Quiet Place 2" released its first poster and pilot trailer. The apocalyptic sense of survival in the silent world once again swept to engulf the hearts of movie fans. In January 2021, the film party announced that it would postpone the schedule again and change it to release in North America on September 17, 2021. In March, "A Quiet Place 2" announced that it will be released in North America on May 28, which is the fifth time the film has been changed.
In May 2021, the movie "A Quiet Place 2" released a new version of the pilot trailer, pre-heating the upcoming final version of the trailer. On May 7th, the film’s final trailer was released; on May 13, the film officially announced its introduction to the mainland and released a Chinese poster; on May 24, the film released a finalized poster, announcing that it would be finalized in mainland China.
