The staff can see: When Dick Sartre is explaining the performance of the trailer, a staff reflection can be seen on the windshield of the car.
Coherence: When Bush was talking to the waiter in the restaurant, between several shots, his glass went from half full to three quarters full.
Continuity: Philip tried to escape from Terry, and he walked through the cornfield with a pistol without bullets. In some shots, he did not hold a gun, but in the end when Bush found him, the gun was still in his hand.
Anachronism: In one scene, the police brought some candies. The packaging boxes of these candies were produced in the 1990s, and it was only 30 years after the film’s background.
Continuity: When Philip's mother gave them breakfast eggs, a small shot showed her eyebrows, and then the shot disappeared. When she was attacked, it was obvious that the shot appeared again.

Butch Haynes: I want you to strut right over to them cops, and yell, "Trick or treat!"
Phillip Perry: What are you gonna do?
Butch Haynes: Somethin' will come to mind.

Butch Haynes: Personally, I think we negotiated a pretty fair deal. Was there somethin' else you want?
Phillip Perry: Do they want to shoot you?
[Butch puts his head down; Phillip kneels and hugs him, crying]
