On the New Year’s Eve on New Year’s Day, there are four disappointed and desperate people in London: Martin, a TV celebrity who was disgraced by having sex with a 15-year-old girl; and Morian, a middle-aged woman who has no life on her own except for taking care of her severely disabled adult son. ; Jess, a girl who has been unable to get out of her psychological shadow because her sister mysteriously disappeared a few years ago; American rock singer JJ who disbanded the band and broke up with his girlfriend. They all thought of committing suicide by jumping from the top of the famous "Top Hat Building", and the four of them met unexpectedly on the top of the building. They spent a night together, telling their own misfortunes, and went home the next morning, but from then on they formed a strange small group of four, and various interesting things began to happen, such as they tried to save Martin. The marriage turned out to be a mess; they formed a book club to discuss suicide writers, and they planned to travel to the Canary Islands in a hurry.
