In the 1980s, a teenager who grew up in Queens, New York, when his friends died tragically, took drugs or went to jail, he gradually began to believe that God's power allowed him to survive.
Based on Dito Montiel's own autobiography, the film describes the details of his growing up in New York. The film is based on the memoir of the same name and tells the story of Dito returning to the old community where he once lived and facing him in the past. After learning that his father was seriously ill, Dito, an already successful writer, returned home 15 years later to try to repair the broken relationship with his family. When Dito was young, his life was very complicated. His friends died, he took drugs and even went to jail. He gradually began to believe that God's power allowed him to survive.
