The TV series version of "Dragon Tiger Boys" is a TV series with noir film color, and in the movie version, Jonah Hill added more comedic elements to the script. In 2008, the production schedule of the movie version of "Dragon and Tiger Boys" was mentioned by Sony, and Sony has been making suggestions for the film's script and finding suitable actors for the film's production team.
At first, the producer of the film, Neil H. Moretz, did not intend to make the film into an action comedy, but at the suggestion of the original director of the TV show, Stephen J. Cannell, it was changed into a comedy, and on the one hand, he wanted to cater to the original version. The style of the movie, on the other hand, I want to incorporate certain comedy elements into this movie according to Cannell's ideas. The original story structure was refined and a film was re-shot; a new film was made using old material.
